The Chamonix II
is a 2004, 70-foot Gold Coast catamaran with 2,380 square feet of
party space. U.S. Coast Guard certified for 105 passengers, the Chamonix II offers a safe, spacious environment for guests of
all ages to experience the joy of catamaran sailing.
The Chamonix II
offers open, well-ventilated deck space providing protection
from sun and spray, with ample room for a band and moonlight
dancing. For your dining pleasure, delicious food can be
provided by your own caterer or one of our preferred caterers.
Beverage service includes complimentary soft drinks and water
but alcohol must be brought on board by the customer due to Lake
Lewisville restrictions with alcohol.
Each pleasure
cruise is planned to maximize fun and relaxation. Bask in the
sun or enjoy a wide array of water activities. A water slide on
the Chamonix II makes it your own private theme park oasis while
you enjoy a full compliment of water toys (available upon
request) such as jet skis.
- Bar - Chamonix II has a
sit down bar with 10 bar stools.
- Dance floor/band stand
area - There is a dance floor area of about 10 x 14 feet.
- Bathrooms - There are two
bathrooms with push button flush and sink.
- Showers - There are two
fresh water rinse off showers, one on bow and one on stern.
- Boarding ladders - There
are two boarding ladders, one is off the bow between the two
bow nets and the other is on the starboard stern.
- Roof deck - at anchor the
roof deck is ideal for sunbathing.
- Buffet/food service area -
Across from the bar area to starboard is a display/buffet
set up area which can be used for cold salads or for
chaffing dishes.
- Refrigeration - There are
two large commercial refrigerators to keep food items cold.
- Seating and tables - There
are approximately 65 seats. Additional fold down tables and
chairs can be added in dance floor area for about 15
additional persons giving us a total of about 80 seats.
- Bow nets area - This is
one of the favorite areas for guests to enjoy having a
cocktail or lying on the nets and relaxing.
- Water slide - A water
slide is located on the starboard stern.
- Music system - A stereo
system with amplifiers provides a great sound system for
dinner music or dancing. Bring your own cd's or dj and party
with your favorite music.
- Enclosures - The open area
on each side of the roof can be enclosed with top and side
bimini curtains.
The Hourly Charter Rate:
$900/hour for the first three hours (with a three-hour
minimum) = $2,700 + tax
$850/hour for 4 hrs = $3,400 + tax
Extra hours over 4 are $700/hr
(example: 5 hrs is $3,400 + $700 = $4,100 + tax
Any charters returning later than
12:30AM are charged a $500 crew
surcharge.
Water and soft drinks are included in the charter price.
Crew and
fuel are included in the charter price.
If BYOB, $100 bartender fee (3
hrs ) is extra with each additional hour at $25
Dining & Beverage Services
Charter includes water and soft drinks. We can cater any type of
food you wish, or you can contract with your favorite caterer.
Alcoholic Beverages:
We operate on a BYOB basis. After you purchase the beverages of
your choice, we will load them on the vessel for your
consumption.
We require
that a certified bar tender serve the alcoholic beverages and
request that the client pay for this cost separately.
Crew Gratuities:
Our crew does not solicit gratuities. If you like the
service, you can tip the Captain who will divide the tip
evenly among the entire crew.
A 50% deposit is due upon booking of the
charter.
Cancellation and refund policy:
There is
a 100% refund on charters canceled within 21 days of the charter
date. Charters cancelled with less than 21 days notice will
forfeit the deposit made at the time of booking. In the
event the charter can be
rescheduled at a mutually acceptable future date, then the 50%
deposit will be applied in full on the new charter date. The
deposit will be refunded if the charter is canceled due to rain
or unsafe weather conditions at the time of the charter. Unsafe
weather conditions will be determined solely by the captain or
owner of the vessel. The client shall have the option to receive
a full refund of the deposit or reschedule the charter at a
mutually acceptable date. Otherwise, the deposit is
non-refundable. Damage deposit of $1,000 is due upon contract
signing.
